Getting a New Prescription Filled

When you get a new prescription filled, make sure you understand how the drug should be taken and what it is supposed to do. Tell your pharmacist what condition or disease is being treated, so he or she can better explain the treatment. Don't forget to tell the pharmacist about any allergies you have, so he or she can assess whether those allergies will interact with the new drug.
